House washing · Houston, Texas

House washing in Houston, handled by the owner.

Houston heat, humidity, shade, pollen, and windblown dirt can leave exterior walls green, streaked, or simply tired. We clean siding, brick, stucco, soffits, fascia, trim, and entry areas with a process chosen for the material—not one pressure setting for the whole property.

Your house-wash scope

A wash plan for the home—not one setting for everything.

A painted wall, a stucco elevation, and a concrete driveway should not be cleaned the same way. Your written estimate identifies the materials, visible staining, and exact surfaces included before the appointment.

01

Exterior walls

Vinyl and painted siding, fiber cement, brick, stucco, stone accents, and mixed-material elevations—subject to current condition.

02

Roofline details

Soffits, fascia, exterior gutter faces, trim, vents, and the shaded edges where cobwebs and organic growth collect.

03

Entries & attached areas

Porch walls, columns, garage-facing areas, doors, and entry details included in the confirmed house-wash scope.

04

Property-aware prep

Windows, doors, fixtures, water flow, landscaping, existing wear, and other property-specific concerns are considered before cleaning.

See Exactly What Is Included

Roof cleaning, detailed window cleaning, driveways, patios, and specialty stains are quoted separately unless written into your scope.

How the work happens

Five clear steps. One direct point of contact.

Soft washing is more than turning the pressure down. The material, coating, stain, landscaping, water flow, and access all affect how the exterior should be approached.

Built around Houston conditions

Humidity makes the shade show first.

Warm, damp air and long shaded stretches create an easy place for green or dark organic buildup to return. Pollen, dust, tree cover, irrigation spray, and limited airflow add their own layer.

That is why the first question is not “How much pressure?” It is “What material and what kind of staining are we looking at?”

Organic growth

Often visible on shaded siding, under eaves, and along moisture-prone walls.

Pollen & grime

Collects on textured surfaces, ledges, trim, and sheltered entry areas.

Oxidation

A surface-condition issue that washing can reveal but cannot repair.

Mineral & rust stains

May need specialty treatment and are not assumed to be part of a standard wash.

Is house washing the same as pressure washing?

Not exactly. House washing usually uses cleaning solution and a controlled, low-pressure rinse on exterior walls. Concentrated pressure is generally better suited to appropriate hard surfaces. The method should follow the material.

What does a house wash include?

A typical written scope can cover exterior walls, siding, brick, stucco, soffits, fascia, trim, exterior gutter faces, entry areas, cobweb removal, and a general window rinse. Roofs, driveways, patios, and detailed window cleaning are separate unless specifically listed.

Can you wash painted siding, brick, and stucco?

These surfaces can often be cleaned, but their current condition matters. Loose paint, chalking, weak mortar, cracks, failing seals, or previous damage may require a modified approach or exclusion. Washing does not repair a compromised surface.

How often should a Houston home be washed?

There is no required schedule. Shaded homes, tree-covered lots, and walls exposed to irrigation may show buildup sooner than sunny, open properties. A practical time to wash is when visible organic buildup begins affecting the exterior.

Will house washing remove every stain?

No. Ordinary grime and organic buildup often respond well. Oxidation, rust, irrigation minerals, paint failure, efflorescence, and permanent discoloration are different conditions and may require specialty treatment or remain visible.
