Know what your house wash covers before the appointment.
A house wash focuses on the vertical exterior and attached details of the home. Mark reviews the material, condition, access, and visible buildup, then identifies the exact surfaces included in your estimate.
The home is reviewed as a system, not one flat wall.
Houston exteriors often mix painted siding, brick, stucco, stone accents, metal fixtures, sealed openings, and landscaping within a few feet. The plan has to account for those transitions.
01
Main elevations
Exterior siding, painted walls, brick, stucco, and mixed-material elevations may be included after their current condition is reviewed.
Visible algae and organic buildup
Ordinary dust, pollen, and exterior grime
Material-appropriate application and rinsing
02
Roofline and trim
Shaded edges and horizontal details tend to collect cobwebs and residue even when the main wall looks relatively clean.
Soffits and fascia
Exterior gutter faces
Trim, vents, and accessible detail areas
03
Entries and attached details
The written scope can cover the details guests see first and the sheltered areas where dirt and insects gather.
Porch and entry walls
Columns, doors, and garage-facing surfaces
General exterior window rinse
Scope boundaries
Some exterior work needs its own method and price.
A useful estimate separates the house wash from surfaces or stains that call for another treatment. That keeps the work clear and avoids implying that every mark will respond to one cleaning process.

This siding project was completed by Pristine Exterior Clean, the owner-operated company behind House Wash Houston.
A general exterior rinse can be included. That is not detailed window cleaning, which addresses glass, screens, tracks, and spot-free finishing as a separate service.
Does house washing include the roof or driveway?
No. Roofs, driveways, patios, and other hardscapes are separate surfaces with different cleaning needs. They are included only when they appear in the written estimate.
Will a house wash remove every stain?
No. Organic buildup and ordinary exterior grime often respond well. Oxidation, rust, irrigation minerals, efflorescence, paint failure, and permanent discoloration may need another treatment or remain visible.
How is the final scope decided?
Mark reviews the address, exterior materials, visible conditions, access, and requested surfaces. Your written estimate identifies what is included and notes exclusions or separate treatments before scheduling.
